Obi asks: What is the liability in believing in past lives and entities?
There can be immense liabilities in holding these beliefs.
First I want to state that for me and Steve the jury is out on whether past lives exist or not. We both think it's possible. We neither know or don't know. We've both had experiences--but have never come back with compelling evidence one way or the other. We both don't believe at all in the pseudo dreamstate kaka pastlives created in trance. The reasons are obvious. We can alter those dreams while in them. Every part of them. We know the difference between dreaming trance and what goes on in day to day life.
But we don't think dreamstate past lives are worth crap. And that's what Scieno style tech and past life regressionists generally operate upon. BS.
Liabilities:
1. Believing in past lives and spending big bucks on past life regressionists can cost you well earned money like going to a hack astrologer.
2. If you go after your pseudo pastlives, you can be neglecting your present and future.
3. While hunting out past lives, you may easily install vicious and debilitating traumas. This is a fact. Amateur regressionists and new age trainers have mauled people with this stuff. I don't know how many people have been sent to psych wards for cracking up from these beliefs.
4. Dreamstate past lives, when created in trance, may be depressing and lower your immune system.
5. In doing endless therapy on trying to clear out entities and past life charge, you will be paying out bookoo bucks and wasting your precious time. You could be targeting important challenges.
6. In believing in this silly crap you leave yourself open to the many unscrupulous mind benders out there.
7. You may likely estrange yourself and cut off com with people who don't share your nutty and unproven beliefs. This may be a blessing in disguise for them. It will save them ear plugs.
8. You may achieve great guilt over something you did in a past life that never existed save in fantasy land. You maybecome so depressed you contemplate suicide and carry it out.
9. You mark yourself as a fool to many sane people who have the ability to test reality and recognize fantasy realities from what's not.
10. You could return to patterns in an imaginary past life and have them take over the way you do things now.
11. You make boring and insipid conversation with people who think you're a dolt and easy.
12. You may make a dire religious cause out of promoting past lives and cause untold harm to people now living. Launch pogroms and crusades.
13. You may become the leader of some goofball org that promotes expensive lessons in learning how to navigate through past lives.
14. You may suddenly have the flash back from a dreamstate past life that you evoked and crash your auto into others killing hundreds on a freeway.
15. You may think of yourself as a real rotter for something you never actually did.
16. You stand to bring down your self-image by believing in a past life and reexperiencing a crowd jeering at you at the guilotine.
17. You may halt your real personal growth to go off chasing fantasy land past lives.
18. You may turn your back on your wife and kids and become obsessed with past lives.
19. You may have had a future orientation in time dream within your past life fantasy and saw yourself being beheaded by goths. I like that one!
20. You might have well have liked the fantasy past and wanted to remain there, but we're terribly disturbed and frustrated afterwards. Trapped in your past life you suffocated in your sleep and stunk up the neighborhood. Yech!
21. You smoked pot in a past life fantasy and it showed up in your urine test at Man Power--the only job you can have because your brain was reduced to a weenie by the obsession for past life fanaticism.
22. You met another soul mate back there in fantasy land and this ends your really good marriage. Boo Hoo!
23. Clearing entities can take forever--especially when your dreams keep reproducing them. Bust that piggy bank!
Obvious Obie Pseudo past lives call down lots of extreme liabilities.
Basically they can be problematic in the extreme. I could come up with thousands of negative scenerios.
Yes believing in them can destroy a fellow. Make him an outcast. I personally condemn any dimdot who wastes his time on them. Be a man and die a rational death. Except nothingness and let go of any painful filters on it. Think of your mind passing into black velvet nothingness. Kind of like the insane argument for past lives.
